Man vs Synth
Based out of Naarm (Melbourne), Australia, Man vs Synth combines cavernous synthesiser tones with piercing guitar refrains. With a heavy emphasis on rhythm; Man vs Synth ventures into seldom-explored, genre-defying territory. Mathew El-Fakhry is the face behind Man vs Synth; writing, performing and producing most of the bands work, as well as providing vocals and guitar work. Hamish Cocks appears behind the kit with explosively contrasting drum beats. Leigh Biggerstaff joins on the bass guitar to supply a humble and melodic bottom end. Last but not least is the Synth to Man vs Synth, Rory Trebilco, who constantly wages war against Man with his deep and complex synth arrangements.
